Coordinating Your Shoes to your Veil and Wedding Dress

June 4th, 2007 by TheBride

You can carry the beading you used on your veil and dress over to your shoes. Shoes can be a nightmare, to find a good pair reasonably priced, get them dyed and then you only wear them for one day.

To save money you can buy simpler shoes, and then get them dyed to your appropriate color. The beads you buy for the veil and dress can come on strings, you can use these strings and stitch the entire string onto the straps of your shoes. These strings only have to be lightly sown on so you don’t ruin the shoes and the strings can come off after the wedding.

You can also reuse your bridal shoes and bring them back into the place you had dye them the first time and get them dyed black or another darker color and then you can use the shoes again.
