Great Tips for Your Wedding Registry

present.jpg The most important tip I can give you about your registry is do it early. We got married in May and started up our registry in early January. I wish now we would’ve have started even a month earlier so we could’ve gotten some of our registry items for Christmas as well. Depending on when you are getting married you should definitely utilize your registry for Christmas gifts. Either start your registry early or be sure you remind people that at most places your registry stays open for a couple of months after your wedding, so even if you got married in September or October people can still purchase unsought gifts off your registry and give them to you for Christmas.

Another good idea is to try to help your guests in being able to get gifts for you. For example if some or most of your relatives live in a small towns, try to register at stores in their town or at least at a variety of national stores to make it easy for all your guests.

One more good idea is to register at online stores, like Amazon.com and/or Pamperedchef.com. Most of these places have a lot of unique items along with almost everything else you may need.
