The Open Bar, Cash Bar and Drink Ticket Dilemma

A big dilemma at the reception is what to do about the drink situation. Some places let you do what my fiancé and I did which is give out drink tickets. This is a nice alternative to an open bar, which in some cases can get out of control and depending on your budget, it can really bust it. By doing drink tickets you are able to put forth the gesture of providing drinks without the worry or painful bills. In some cases as well, depending on your guests you may want to limit the drinks to only soda, wine and beer instead of hard liquor.
